possible to be ineligible to transfer cuz of credits are too many? HELP!

by the end of my soph. year, i think id have around 90~100 credits at a 4yr college.

i dont care much whether all my credits are transferred. Is it possible that because of too much credit completed, i can become ineligible for transfer?
(my school offers no double major that why i have so many credits under my belt. it's also reason why i want to transfer: to pursue double major)

anyway, have you guys ever heard of becoming ineligible for transfer because of too many credits even though an applicant is sophomore?

HELP PLEASE

ah dammit. silly grammar error in the title. just ignore of after cuz

I have never heard of a person being ineligible to transfer. You will most definitely lose units.

They will select what counts up to their stated maximum incoming transfer units. I was much like you, and transferred with too many units. They just deleted the classes that wouldn't count from my transcript.

I know others who have had the same experience.

I believe there are some schools that will simply not consider an applicant who has too many credits. You have to check each school's policy individually.

Yeah schools like UT-Austin OOS I believe.

Do you have 90-100 quarter units? Or semester units? I can't understand how you would've accumulated 90-100 semester units in two years.
