I was admitted to the College or Letters and Science and was told that I would have to declare and “get in” during my junior year as a CS major. But being a more science/math person, I think it would be better for me to try doing the EECS instead of L&S CS program. Is it possible for me to switch into EECS when I got into L&S?

It's possible, but I wouldn't hold my breath. The competition for transfers into EECS is extremely intense. As you may know, the competition for spots in the Computer Science program in L&S is brutal, yet the competition for EECS transfer spots is worse.

If you really wanted to do EECS, you should have applied to EECS as a freshman. Or at very least, one of the other engineering disciplines in the CoE. Trying to transfer into EECS from L&S is tough.
