possible to transfer to cas then internal transfer to stern?

Hi everyone I am currently studyin in university of Wisconsin-Madison
I have beeen rejected for the 2006 fall stern transfer
I am thinking about to transfer to CAS for the spring 2007 and then internal tansfer to stern...
Anyone know if it is going to work or not?
because the the nyu web site it says that stern will not consider student transfer to nyu via another college

Sounds like you're looking for a backdoor into Stern. My guess is that you should forget about it. If it had been done before, everyone would know about it.

What is your GPA at university of Wisconsin-Madison?

I think Stern is pretty serious when they say that.

If you were admitted into NYU initially out of high school, it's possible to transfer into Stern. If you transfer in and then intend to transfer into Stern from CAS, good luck. It won't happen.

Why not work on your grades and apply to Stern next fall? They'll see your resilience and I'm sure that will look good.

If you transfer into CAS you will be in CAS. They specifically say you can not do what you are thinking of doing.
