I seriously hope this isn't real, or that people like sadface got in, but also had an ID for another reason...2400 SAT, 2400 SATII, for what? :( This stinks...

Well 2400/2400 doesn't guarantee anything. Though I think it should do more than what it does at the present lol. Trust me, I'm here, people with far lower SAT scores got in. However, there are other schools that put more emphasis on scores.

and sunetid **is **a stanford id. lol. it doesn't mean de facto 100% you're in, but god damn it I'd bet he's in. Though it doesn't mean someone didn't get in because they probably haven't uploaded everything yet.

Ughh, I don't think I've ever been this stressed. If I'm going to feel like this the rest of the week, I'm staying home to watch movies and eat ice cream.

Knowing you guys, this method isn't at all reliable. Way more people should have been accepted. Sorry to cause distress.

As I pointed out elsewhere, the rate of failure here does not match the acceptance rate of CC SCEA applicants (or RD applicants, for that matter) in years past, even adjusted for the varying number of people in the pool. I wouldn't read to much into a failure for this to work, at the moment.

Hahahaha, omg, you guys. I think we all need to calm down. There's been 82 posts in just three hours!
Anyways, I just came back from dinner, read this, freaked out for a sec, and then started laughing b/c we're all so uptight. Seriously, just get up from the computer, take a walk around your house, and then read this thread. Honestly, I'm sure Stanford would want to get their decisions out as soon as possible, so if they truly had everything done by now, nice little emails would be sitting in our inboxes, and we'd be hyperventilating for a legitimate reason.
And supereagle, please stop posting this site on all the other threads and being so determined on its validity b/c it hasn't been confirmed, and it's not helping anyone to tell them that they're all rejected.
Just one more week, guys! We can hang in there. :)

Hokay, posting order got messed up again. Sighh

skscherTX, it seems that you've thrown the s**t into the fan! Someone had to do it, I guess...

so i just called a friend who did the summer classes this past summer and had him try it out. he got the same thing most of us did. i don't know what that means but i thought i should just put that out there...

^ EPGY isn't affiliated with Stanford Extension School, the one you can take night classes at, not the Stanford University we're applying to. This, hopefully, accounts for the differences...

Can anyone confirm this? I feel like two isn't a very reliable sample, and although the number of applicants increased, I don't think that everyone here would be rejected. Any other positive results?

OP, gah!

This is what I'll tell you.
Sadface has very likely been admitted.
Just because you didn't get one doesn't mean you were rejected, because everyone procrastinates so chances are all the decisions haven't been made and definitely not all have been put up. One can tell because usually 40-50% of all CCers who apply EA are admitted and even though we can probably all agree that number will be lower this year it will still be at least 35%
But yes, if you can make a sunetid you VERY LIKELY have been admitted.
I hope this helps everyone.

Hmmm, I kinda doubt this. Only two or three people out of the whole forum got this? If you don't mind me asking sadface, which geographical area are you in?

It's like when I clicked" provide other identification" it worked for me. My page came out exactly like sadface's.
But when I typed in my ID, it failed...

i'm in california

wahohhhhhhahahah. annesherry, it works for me as well. ok what the heck. someone else try that right now!!

loooooool maybe everyone can breathe now!!! :D

I can't help but feel that some CC'ers are having a good laugh at the expense of others. But if it is legit, here's to hoping that they haven't gotten around to entering us in yet :(

The box next to it says 'If you complete this form instead of entering your University ID, you will encounter a substantial delay before your SUNet ID services can be activated.'

I think it's best to wait on this lead...

hmmm, I guess people can breathe. problem solved.
