I am a junior in high school at very rigorous high school. I may have overreached my abilities this year with my schedule. This is it:
Gym
AP Bio
AP Macroeconomics
AP Chemistry
AP World History
honors spanish 4
Honors calculus
AP English Language and Composition
I had a 4.0 unweighted this year before the beginning of this year and I am really stuggling in ap chemistry. I have 3 days to drop the class before it shows up on my transcript as a dropped class. As of now, I have an 81 (a C). I'm not used to my teachers teaching style so I am completely lost most of class. If I drop, I would have to take a study hall for the rest of first semester and then go into an elective for the second half of year. I'm hesitant about doing his because I'm nervous about how this will show up on college applications next year. My parents don't care what I do and my guidance counselor is okay with whatever I decide. So any advice on whether I should drop and how bad a study hall would look on college applications next year or a c in chemistry?
