I recieved a notice from ROTC at MSU telling me to set up an interview for a 4 year ROTC scholarship. The cool thing is I almost secured a spot as long as I go to my interview. The PMS there just told me to mention that their ROTC unit has an interest in having me. He said that by simply stating that, admissions gives my addmitance priority over others. The funny thing is that I didn't even apply yet. Just to be careful, I am applying in August.

Does anyone know how long it takes for an admission notice after sending in an application? I know its rolling admission, so there is no set notice. But how soon would I get the notice after I finish my application?

It usually takes a month or so. Last year I applied in September and was accepted in early October.

You are applying to MSU in August for this fall semester?

Rolling admissions start September 1. The earlier you send in your application, the earlier you'll receive your decision (probably no earlier than the early to middle of October is when the first wave of acceptances is sent out). I applied mid-September, got my decision mid-October

i sent an application in early nov, got accepted in 2 weeks

Cool, so I'll probably have everything set by november. Once I do get accepted, I'm just taking my ROTC scholarship there, competition is too strong to bargain my scholarship with other schools =)
