Did somebody beat me to 30,000? Or is this 30,001?

Oh yea, this definitely has to do with the Naval Academy...

doggone right! 30,002 random thoughts offered randomly ... not one of which is definitive. but it is therapeutic. I think.

"No you don't." :(

"Oh yes I do. Sometimes." :p

"Oh no you don't! Rarely!" :(

Bill,
That's too funny! And you're not even a member of the 10 percent club ;)!!! It's hard to imagine that a working adult could post 10 percent of the TOTAL posts on the USNA forum in less than a year!!! Just how long has this forum been going?

I had not thought of it that way.
Put a different way, less than five individuals [and I am being generous, it is probably less than three] are probably responsible for over TWENTY PERCENT of the posts on this fourm.

I read somwhere that less than one percent of those who view youtube are responsible for UPloading videos. The rest only view the videos.

More people enjoy watching train wrecks than being in them.

Wait, let me get this straight: you guys are starting/running a thread griping about others who post too often w/comments of which you don't approve? Well, that makes sense  .

It was too early this morning.
The above is incorrect.
I don't think it is 20% of posts. Numbers are replies posted.
As soon as I walked out, I realized the error.

This is just parents w/ nothing better to do.

Start a countdown thread to commissioning - that'll get your numbers up! :)

Now that I have had time to look at what I posted--whether or not anybody else is--maybe the original post was correct.

By each person's name is the number of "posts" for which that person is responsible.
Total posts: 30,000.

So . . it is true, less than five persons are responsible for over 20% of the posts.

Interesting.

No gripe nicki, just an observation.

Whether I agree with or disagree with the postings is irrelevant; it remains an intersting fact that a few people are responsible for 20 - 25% of the posts.
