I would like to see the various award packages people receive. If you are willing, please post family income, efc, grants, and loans. Thanks!

I personally think that your request is for way too much personal information, on a public forum. It is also not in good taste to ask people about their personal finances

How is sharing family income personal information? Besides, that is why I stated very clearly "if you are willing".

i think this is a good idea for a post

First of all every one situation is different.

If I make $50,000 per year and you make $50,000 per year that does not necessarily mean that we are going to have the same EFC (as I may/ or you may have extenuating circumstances, additional kids in college, provate school tuition, loss of income, catastrophic illness, etc)

Financial aid is the one thing in the college process where everyone is looked at differently. All I can say is this, I would be extremely angry should my child posted my income and personal information on a public forum. But hey, maybe it works for your parents.

seems fine to me. ill post once i file my fafsa!

"personal information" isnt exactly the same as your income... personal info can lead an internet viewer to your identity. telling your income does not do this...

Considering most of the income information, you will be posting will not be your, but your parents, are you sure that they are alright with letting cyberspace know their financial picture

sybbie, are you ignorant? I did not ask for any personal information. No one is going to find your identity if you post your income.
