5APs, Sophmore-Junior Year, AP Scholar with Distinction anticipated.
From New England, completely unhooked. GPA 95.6, class rank 5 out of 200. Created a Poetry club that has a decent amount of people and support, lol.

I know this is not a lot of information, but I've heard that for Ivies, unhooked applicants generally have 2300+. Columbia's website also doesn't recommend taking the SAT more than twice.... Do I have a chance there? Any feedback appreciated ^__^.

Based on just SAT scores and your GPA, you have a fairly better shot than most applicants. Although you should do more EC’s or SAT II Subject Tests (unless you did and didn’t put them here).

Yeah I guess I will. For the record, SAT II scores:
Freshman year: Bio (M) 620
Sophomore year: Math I 720
Junior predictions:
Chem 780
USH 750

Hey, kr9ted: these forums are supposed to be anonymous, unless the OP chooses otherwise!!! PM such questions in the future and do not jeopardize anyone’s anonymity!

No, haha. It’s not really big enough for people outside of the school to know it, but it’s presence here is something I’m fairly proud about.

Oh, and not sure if anyone’s still chanceing at this point (lol) but I took AP Calc AB Junior year. Calc BC at a college. I hope that’s like, moderately impressive haha. Probbbs not.
