Post UCLA Jobs? How has it been getting jobs after graduation?

I'm curious as to how the current economy has affected graduates getting jobs? is there any advice you would give about your experience?

People who can’t get jobs in this economy are using it as a poor excuse to cover up the fact that they don’t have an education or any real defined skill set.

^ please elaborate.

Can you give an example of what you are saying?

Depends on how high up you’re looking; if you’re a recent graduate with no prior experience or skills, then having overexpectations of your next career is ill-advised.

On the other hand, many students have done internships, performed research, or gained other experiences during college. Often times, your current employers can offer to keep you on as paid staff after graduation.

Just be willing to relocate anywhere in the US and I wouldn’t worry about it. California has a high unemployment rate and businesses keep leaving (except for hollywood and silicon valley tech)
