Hi
As you guys know, the Indian board examinations for 11th standard is extremely (extremely, extremely) difficult and hence it screws up our school grades.
Could students accepted to US Universities post how much they got in their 11th grades so that future applicants have an idea of where they stand?
I got a 78.4%, as for getting in… I’ll let you know that by next year.
85%. I feel like it’s not enough.
UCLA says competitive students from India have 80% + in their 11th and 12th grades . You guys fine . <60 is where the problem starts .
If you look up any conversion guide online it will tell you that 60% and above is first division or first class which means its an ‘A’ so state uni’s and less selective ones shouldn’t be a problem
Honestly speaking I’m so bad at my studies the only school I’m looking at is Arizona state university ( W.P Carey school of business ) .
@Procrastinator45 how do you know what UCLA says about competetive students from India?
@Thiago99 Check out their international admission brochure
@Procrastinator45 Thanks, You’re right. :)>-
Hi, I am applying from India. I scored really badly on my half yearly exams due to SAT prep. So is it possible to send in my first pre boards marksheet instead of my half yearly marksheet?
Hey, I am in 11th grade right now can you guys tell me what is the weightage for each exam like in class 10 for cbse, it was 10% for FA and 30% for SA, so what is it like in 11th, I did very poorly in my first unit test and my mid-terms have gone poorly as well(I didn’t study at all for these tests and I can definitely improve my grades), my average is now around 50%. What would be a competitive average score for schools like UMich, GTech, Amherst. Also do these schools only consider the final exam marks for 11th or the whole year.
I got a 93% in 11th cuz I’m also preparing for iit which makes CBSE seem pretty easy. However, I’m applying to pretty selective colleges so i don’t think these marks are gonna make a lot of difference.
I have 76.5% and I am applying to usc … lets hope I make it
