The funny thing is that my math lecture is just followed by my physics lecture, and they're both in the exact same room. Heh.

Think I should be taking another class? I had microecon in there too and my advisor seemed fine with it all but it robbed me of my lunch on tuesdays wednesdays and thursdays so i dropped it.

MWF:
Statistics (100-level)
Public Speaking (100-level)
Soviet History (300-level)
4th Year Russian I (400-level)

TR:
Russian Drama (300-level)

Here's a tip to you youngins': don't put off required classes until your 4th year! I'd really rather be taking Sanskrit or French Existentialist Literature than Statistics or Public Speaking...

Had to change my schedule around to qualify for a study abroad program I will be applying to.

Sophomore Political Science and French, 20 hours. My first quarter of all upper-level courses - hopefully it'll go well.

French 403 - Intermediate French Writing
History 501 - History of Archaic Greece
Political Science 502 - Campaign Politics
Political Science 545 - Foreign Policy Decision Making

Thanks for the great replies guys! Sorry for not replying sooner, my internet was down pretty much the whole week.

Well I have to take the engineering class this semester, and I took orgo and calc 2 senior year in high school so I don't want to wait a whole semester before taking orgo and calc 3 in college. Also, I have to take the orgo lab (lecture and lab) during the same semester that I am taking the orgo class.

christalena2: Yea, I was confused about that too. Some people who've already taken the class told me that during the lecture the prof just goes over any upcoming labs.

The thing is, I might want to enter into the b-school and applications for that are at the end of freshman year. By then, I'll have had to take both my engineering prereq classes and macro and micro econ. Also, the econ grades are a huge factor of whether or not you get into the b-school so I want to have enough time in my schedule to spend on that class. On the other hand, I'm also thinking about doing biomed, and for that orgo is required. I looked at summer classes too but the only problem with that is that the b-school application is due before summer classes start.

The only option I can really see is droppping chinese this semester (I've heard its a really hard class, 5 credits) and maybe taking it during the summer. But one of my goals is to study abroad in China and I fear I won't be fluent enough if I don't start taking chinese now.

Neomaxl, check to see if you school has 'intense summer courses' for Chinese like some schools I know. I'm not taking Chinese this year, but will probably start during the summer into my sophomore year and beyond. Supposedly, the 'intensity' of the course covers what a normal semester or two will during regular school time. Maybe you could do this instead.

If that's the only option, I would advise you to drop Chinese. It's a hard enough class in of itself -and you want to add that on to your already tough schedule? That's just my tidbit..
