I have heard that likely students received postcards from current students. I have not yet :-( Will everyone get one?

I haven't received an actual postcard in the mail, but I did receive a postcard via e-mail from a Wellesley student titled Greetings from a Wellesley student! I figure some get this instead of a material postcard.

Did you get this one instead?

Or maybe it's just because we're in Texas ;]

No, I didn?t get that either. Maybe my student is just really really busy right now?

haha true. maybe it was just me who got that e-mail instead of the postcard...my student was probably lazy and didn't feel like sending out an actual postcard so she sent out an e-mail instead ;]

Just kidding, of course.
I completely appreciate it nonetheless!

i wanna postcard!!! :(

just curious, did any RD applicant get one?

Probably not. Unless there is the EE mixup like one of the other posters, but this one being positive.

Admissions usually solicits the entire student body to volunteer to do letter writting for EE. I can't remember them doing it yet this year. I'll probably get the notice soon because the EE letters are handwritten to the students they are sent to (part of the reason I don't do it- they make you do 10 and it's a huge time commitment).

yea i was wondering the same thing, cos' i haven't noticed the admissions ppl telling us to do this either.... I'm a freshman at W btw~ :)

EE students get a whole host of junk which will probably include a Wellesley dvd this year (three years ago i got a video) since I have a friend who got a copy since she was in it.

Admissions usually sends a flyer to everyone's (Lulu) mailbox asking if you remember getting a letter and that you writing one "could make a difference" to some student just like you. So it's not out yet. I'm not crazy (good). I'm sure it will be within the next week or so since they have the sames and the students need time to do it.
