Postmarked Deadlines

There was a supplemental that I haven't sent in yet. Would the 2nd be acceptable since yesterday the post office was closed?

i hope so........

Yes it should be fine as long as you send it RIGHT AWAY. Jan 1 fell on a Sunday this year so the legal holiday for New Year's is Jan 2. The first business day is Jan 3. Depending on the institution, it is a common business practice to accept things the first business day after a legal holiday.

I talked to the Pton admin office during ED supplement time about a postmark issue and they said don't freak, they will accept it. My D ended up getting in.

I went on today and realized that the supplement was not sent on Dec 22 when I sent the application in. I sent it in today using the common application. Am I OK or screwed.

I think you are screwed. Not sure, but that really sucks. Did you use common app online for both?

yes
I sent in the spplication after I paid the fee. Ithought I had clicked the supplement as well since it said they had to be sent together.

It said they have to be sent together because it holds off on dispaching the application until you submit the supplement. You whole app was late. Dang. Call them and ask. It can't hurt. Good luck man.

You're not screwed. Send it and stop worrying!
