So I overnighted on the 28th, it was guaranteed by noon on the 30th, and it still says "Enroute" at USPS.com. What should I do? I sent stuff to Princeton and Duke. I don't want to send again cuz they might end up with two copies and that would be horrible (it's about 10 pages of stuff total, I guess). Will they let me send it Jan 3rd, if it's still not there by then?

Do they specifically that everything has to be IN by the 1st, or do they just want it postmarked by then? Im sure even if it gets there a day late, it will be fine--they'll likely be filing all of their apps, and as long as your actual application is in on time, it should be ok. then again, if you're still not feeling too good about it, you could always email them and ask. you might seem obsessive, but I think it's good to be obsessive about this sort of stuff ;) Best of luck

:P And maybe I'm the other side of the spectrum; I'm too complacent. I just assume that as long as they get postmarked by or before the deadline, it'll be ok.

dude it's fine if it hasn't reached yet. They're still on winter break, and probably won't be reviewing RD apps for a while. Your supp stuff will arrive in a day or two, ur fine.

Nooo, I'm not worried that it will reach after the deadline, it's that it may have gotten lost! I won't have a chance to remail it until after the deadline though....

don't be a worry wort. I am sure it didn't get lost. Besides if it did I am sure the schools would be understanding...

Well ok so it got there, but it says that a delivery attempt was made, and another will be made, but if that doesn't work they'll hold it for 5 business days and return it to me. Is there any way I can tell them to not hold it for 5 business days? Ugh I'm going to the post office.
