750 sounds about right. Who knows though..

How much sleep did you guys get the night before? I only got 5 hours or so... :)

i got 6 on that one. Since all were in equal increments, it would be 3, 4.5(x), 6(y), 7.5, 9(2x=2*4.5)

To enzo: In previous SAT math curves. One wrong has been anywhere from 800 to 760. Two wrong can be a 790 at best, and the worst is something below 760.

To odan: I put 4.5 for that question (meaning incriments of 1.5) 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9. It works (i think)

On the 2004 PSAT 2 wrong was a 73... so it could be that bad. But it probably won't be that bad this time around.

Odan, I definitely only got 5 hours, at most :.

Which may be why I fell for the average car speed problem.

For the median question, I believe I put 9?

For the number line one, I looked at it like this. I thought I got it right, but now I'm kinda second guessing myself.

|||||
3 x y - 2x

If 3 increments doubles x, I thought that 3 would double after three increments, meaning the blank would be 6. Then I thought y would be 5. I'm pretty sure that is wrong though, because the x's don't match up. Not sure what I was thinking. Another one wrong. :(

At least you got to a chance to answer it. I couldn't even grid in my last answer, and i got it right. That will haunt me for like a month. Actually, it depends on the curve. If i still get a 790 i'll be happy.

According to a recent newspaper article the question and answer service wasn't avaliable because ETS is planning on re-using the questions. Maybe they'll show up on the May SAT? :)

for the number line question i figured out that it's 1.5 apart so if the question asked for what y was, i put 6.
and about the median one on the grid ins, if it was 4 and 8 then i might have put down 11 as well. i couldn't remember that one really well.

Is there any way to figure out the number line one without guess and check?

ETS is skipping the Q and A service so they can get us back our results faster, not because they want to reuse the questions.

And to Odan, i used guess and check for that problem. Considering there are only 4 possilbe answers on the sat, its pretty easy to guess and check.

"She was, however, *disappointed that the students would not be getting a question-and-answer survey because the College Board, which administers the test, plans to use the questions in the future." *

Hmm. Interesting. Although the source doesn't seem too reliable considering "question-and-answer survey" should be question-and-answer SERVICE.
