Potential applicant to BAMA

Thanks ccforlife -

Which version of direct hits did your D use - the core or the toughest version.

@ Mike -eday = engineering day, I believe.

She used the core (2 volumes so they could get more $). I believe the toughest was a later edition.

BTW, be prepared if she goes to an E-day presentation and decides “No thanks, I do NOT want to be an Engineer.” Not all students with A’s in A/P Calc and Physics will find Engineering appealing. If you find yourself in this situation, I recommend a book about suggested majors for different personality types. In the end it saves a lot of time and energy knowing which professions they don’t want to pursue. On the other side of the coin if she gets excited about Engineering it can also help her narrow down her choices to what Engineering degree she might prefer.

OK - don’t laugh, but one of the best (actually the only) study guide my kids have used was their SAT shower curtain. Made by The Intuitive Learning Company, but I think you can find it on amazon. Been hanging in their bathroom for years - we change it out every two or three. Amazing what you can memorize sitting on the can, Seriously!

^^^

LOL…I’ll have to tell my siblings…we’re thru all that!

edited to add…

OMG…there are different ones for different subjects…Spanish, French, SAT Words, etc…

There should be bathroom wall paper!! :)

This is too funny, thanks for the link mom2, She spends so much time in the bathroom it would be useul. But, somehow I think my D would kill me.
