I could not beleive it when I heard that something again was happening in this part of the world. Our prayers go out that our friends Roby and Momsrath and all our CC friends with loved ones in that area for their safety.

It happened in the same area as before off of Aceh. It should not have affected these people. But it is very sad...Thailand and other countries have issued a tsunami warning again.

Actually, it says nothing about Aceh. My knowledge of geography regarding this area is very limited. Probably not Aceh but it says 150 miles from Sibolga on Sumatra island.

I am so sorry to read this news/post. Like last time, our thoughts are with those in the area and particularly thinking of Momrath and Roby. Hope we hear from them soon.

We were in Bali for this earthquake just like the last one. Not affected at all except for an eerie and unsettling feeling about the sea. What is amazing to me is that this Nias earthquake was rated as the 8th largest ever on earth. This is a very volatile part of the world in many respects.

momrath,

So thankful to hear that you are all right!
