Don’t dismiss CS just because you’re not strong in math… From what I’ve heard, a heavy math background isn’t really necessary to do well in CS classes.

I am just not sure because I barely took math 16a and math16b and I got okay grades for them and I just looked at the requirements for CS and i need to talk Math 1a and 1b and 54… and also I am a sophomore.

im in 54 and not a CS major and all she talks about is how important it is to CS. 54 isn’t like any math you’ve taken before, trust me. so if you werent fond of calculus, you might just like this stuff.

I’m sure that some types of CS don’t require any higher-level math, just a good sense of logic.

I don’t know too much about video game design, but I don’t see how you could be a game designer without any knowledge of CS, unless you just want to be a game artist.

Today I was lucky enough to talk to someone who knew some stuff about comp sci and well it really sparked my interest so yeah!

Next semester I am planning to take some comp sci classes for sure and maybe an art class cuz I like drawing + a seminar? because X_X i am going to be a junior soon and gah im freaking out

As for video game design. I want to be known in the industry so i want to have some bg in comp sci and in drawing
