Are practice tests very similar to the actual SAT test? Or is the actualy SAT A LOT harder? And btw, how do so many of you guys score so freaking high? I can probably only get as high as a 1900

depending on the book, practice tests are either higher OR lower. For example, if you use BArron's practice tests you will score about 100 points in each section lower. If you use princeton review, you will score about the same as on the real SAT's, but PR's grading method is screwed up, so I usually end up scoring 20-30 points higher.

But generally practice tests are a little harder than real tests. The SAT will never be a LOT harder, but the real test might emphasize a certain type of questions over another compared to your practice book.

The questions found on practice exams (I'm assuming you are referring to the CB book/course) and the actual exam are fairly consistent conceptually. It only seems more difficult because of the setting, with the proctors and all, and the fact that the time constraints are strictly enforced (I don't know about you, but I'm pretty liberal when it comes to time during practice)

And I think the answers to the latter two are fairly obvious, unless of course, you scored a 1900 on your SATs or something.

im usually within +/- 30 points from my real score compared to collegeboard's practice tests

How about the Kaplan practice tests, that big book of 12? Are they accurate to the real SAT?
