On the placement testing site, it says that practice tests are available for the placement tests ( Chemistry Placement Testing New ). Has anyone located these practice tests? Must you contact an advisor to be released a practice test? Or is everyone else equally clueless?

Everything I looked up sent me to this link. I don’t see the practice tests. Maybe u have to log in before u can see test. You could give them a call cause u want to take the test before orientation.

[placement testing](http://iamnew.class.umn.edu/placement.html)

Yes, log in and the practice tests will pop up.

Don’t afraid to log in and move forward, the practice test is in there!

I just did it like last month!

I’m not seeing either of the practice tests, and I have logged in. Do I have to press [Take Calculus Readiness] test to go further to the practice tests?

I took it a few days ago. You had to go all the way up to the screen that says take practice or take placement, and you select one. But the actual practice is only four questions long, and in my opinion not worth the kerfuzzle.

you could try something like this for a warm up:

[SparkNotes: Review of Calculus AB: Review Test](Review of Calculus AB: Review Test | SparkNotes)

I don’t recommend the above, as it has actual calculus in it, vs the placement test which covers nothing more than precalculus. I highly recommend review advanced algebra techniques, and also maybe a bit on limits and that will cover the bulk of the test.
