I've finished all the BB practice tests. Does you guys think it would be helpful to re-do them, or would I be wasting my time?

What has your score trend looked like? Were you still improving by the end of the book?

It would not be helpful to re-do them. You would be cheating yourself (by scoring higher than you would on the real thing because you have already seen the test before). It would be unrealistic compared to taking the real thing.

@Silverturtle: My score trend has steadily increased. I started off in the 1600s, and now, I’m in the low to mid 1900s. It seems as if I’ve reached a plateau though. And yes, I was improving by the end of book, for the most part.

It can’t hurt to redo them. Some people have found it to be helpful.

Redoing is the best thing you can do in my opinion.

The reason I’m asking is because I’ve used up all the CB tests, including the official ones that they have on their site. Either I redo the ones in the BB, or I do Kaplan’s version of the SAT practice tests. Which should I do?

You could always buy the online course. It has 10 tests, some of which are already released on CB’s site. If you don’t want to pay the 60+ bucks that collegeboard charges Ebay sells the course code for around 10 dollars. (The auction ends in 21 hours)

That’s a good idea, but that seems like a lot of printing to do lol. I don’t want to print 50 pages worth of a practice test since my printer is rather ****ty. :/

Re-doing is a great idea. I’m doing that currently. I don’t remember any of the answers to the previous exams that I’ve taken so it seems like a brand new one.

The online course is a substantial amount of printing but it’s a great tool. I’ve used about 3 tests and they’re just as helpful as the ones in the book and they also come with mini-explanations!

The tests themselves aren’t that long, approximately 60 pages. The explanations, however, can run over 250 pages.

Remember, the first three BB tests are real. The other seven are amalgams of SATs given between 2000 or so and 2004. You would be much better off trying to obtain other real SATs from March 2007 to the just released January 2010 test.
