Pratt Institute's Associate's Degrees

<p>I'm thinking of getting my 2nd degree. I already have a BA in History and I want to take painting or illustration but I don't think it's necessary for me to get another Bachelor's, also to reduce costs.</p>

<p>I'm thinking of getting a 2-year Associate's degree in art instead. Pratt Institute caught my attention but the tuition is expensive. Is it any better than the Associate's degrees or 2-year programs offered in other schools like community colleges? I'm thinking there must be something there that justifies the cost of the program.</p>

Hi! I realize this is an old thread, but I’m wondering if you ever found out more information on the Pratt Associate’s program? I’m in a similar situation: I have a BA in Geology, want to pursue illustration, could really benefit from formal classes but am having trouble finding a program that fits. I applied to the Pratt program and was initially very excited about the curriculum but I’m having trouble finding more details and am getting nervous about the program quality! Plus with that tuition…
