Pre-College v. CMU

I did Pre-College APEA last summer and took PHYSICS I ENG STUDNT 12.00 and INTGR DIFF EQUA APPX 10.00 and did well. My classes met for 80min each everyday for 6 weeks and I had mucho mucho free time to hang out, explore pittsburgh, have fun, etc. They said that this was just a little bit easier than a regular schedule. Is this true? (I'm majoring in business) I go to a school where most people say college is easier than high school so I'm just trying to compare everything.

Yes it is pretty true but realize that you will take 4-5 classes as a full student. However, the other 2-3 classes may not be as demanding as physics or math. Stuff like interp/freshman seminar/etc. are all very easy and take half as much time or a quarter of the time as Engineering/Math.

The hardest thing about Physics I for me was taking it at 8:30 in the morning (only time offered), and dealing with 8:00 AM tests.

I don't know about business classes, since I'm a CS major, but what makes it difficult for me is that I'll have not that much work for several weeks, and then one week where everything is due. Last week I had two tests and a quiz, one every hour for three hours, and then homework due for another class the same day. The previous day I had a programming assignment due, and the day before that another test. It's harder to budget time when you're taking more classes.
