Pre-Med at Mizzou?

I'm a senior in high school in Columbia, Missouri. One of my options for college is the Honors program is Mizzou. I was wondering if I could have some insight on doing pre-med in Mizzou's Honors College.
I'm a highly driven and motivated student, and I've always sought to challenge myself academically. I'm wondering if Mizzou's Honors college will allow me to meet other individuals similar to me. I'm also wondering about the pre-med program and research opportunities.

For some more information: I got into UC Berkeley and Vanderbilt as well, but am considering Mizzou because of location/cost.

I am sort of in the the same boat as you. I was accepted to other schools that have a “better academic reputation” but because of the scholarships that I received and the reputation of the journalism school I picked Mizzou. I think you will be able to challenge yourself through the honors schools and doing internships that will help you get into med school. I live in California and the UC’s are highly competitive, expensive, impacted, and on the quarter system which can be difficult.
