My guidance counselor told me about this school today, and I asked him about pre med, but he had no answers for me. I decided to ask here. Is ODU a good university for pre med? What's it advising like, research opportunities, and clinical volunteering like? Than you!

Its a research university in a metropolitan area, so there are numerous opportunities for both research and clinical experience. Within short driving distance (or public transport) there are numerous hospitals, doctors’ offices, or other medical related practices. Also, there’s a medical school in Norfolk- EVMS where a decent portion of students that wish to stay local have gone off to pursue medical degrees and other related professions.
