I just got accepted into Princeton! Ultimately I want to go to medical school; how is it for premeds at Princeton?

Just meet the TOUGH 35% mark and you'll be MORE THAN FINE...(don't forget MCATS).

How tough is the grading curve? And what about medically related opportunities? Princeton does not have a medical school or medical center, wouldnt that be a disadvantage?

I believe that there is a hospital near Pton, Pton Med Center I think?
anyways...you can always find good volunteer opportunities etc...

As for the grading curve: PRINCETON IS A TOUGH PLACE, enlightening from what some alums and friends say but TOUGH and if your unlucky you could be stuck with a really COMPETITIVE GROUP. But nonetheless, Pton has its share of idiots too. :)

back to the tough part: if you want to know, Pton selects a Valedictorian and Salutorian for their graduating classes. That shud tell you something. And no doubt there will be competitive genuises....its up to you.

You wanna have fun or become smarter? Both are possible together but its RARE...especially as premed.

I disagree with the previuos poster. I don't think it is that difficult to become smarter and have a great time ... I certaintly feel like most of my friends manage it. Clearly, there are occasions when people have to skip a party or show because of studying, or don't get the grade they could have had they locked themselves in Firestone, but I think most have found a good balance. I don't think there is anyone who finds Princeton easy, but the pressure is more internal than based on competition.
