for the prerequisite classes.. its 2 classes of bio, chem, orgo, and physics? or is it 1

like would ap bio/ chem classes only count as 1 of those or since it is all year count as 2... im not planning on testing out... im just wondering the level of science you take for premed. I'm assuming that the level of science you take would be equivlanet of ap chem + another more advanced chem course, and the same for bio/physics/orgo

The course you should take are set by the med school, not the university. Thus, you should check with med schools you intend to apply to and not with Cornell. Your adviser might be able to help you understand the medical school admissions process.

yea, like Billhpike said, many med schools vary in their requirements. some accept AP credit, others want you to take a full year of intro bio. some want a full year of calculus, others don't mind if you take one semester and supplement the other half w/ a statistics course. you just have to make sure you choose classes that will be fine for all the schools you considering...
