Pre-Med: I'm too confused

Hello guys,

I am an international student from Egypt and I got in Trinity C. I feel that med school is my calling, but I don’t want to major in a pure science (Chem or Bio) for several reasons. The most important one is that if for whatever reason med school doesn’t work out, I don’t want to become a researcher for the next 30 years of my life (Its a good job, just doesn’t interest me as much as engineering.), because I intend on majoring in bio medical engineering. Also in Egypt this kinds of majors have very small chances to work with that major. I love engineering, but I love medicine more.

My questions are:
1- Are international students like me eligible for joining Medical Schools?
2- Are there any medical schools that gives a lot of aid to international students like many universities in the US? I mean does it work the same way like US schools? for example, I got a huge amount of aid from Trinity
3- If I can handle BME/premed, how costly is not having the high level biology classes under my belt for med school?
4- How is these majors in Trinity: (Pre-Med Track, Biomedical Engineering, Chem, Biology, Neuroscience,)
