I didn't get into BME at JHU and was wondering what other majors were good for pre-med. neuroscience? biology? bioengineering?

and by good i mean overlaps well with pre-med requirements, provides better opportunities for research and other extra curriculurs, what major from JHU looks best for med school aside from BME, and an overall better college experience

You can major in anything and still apply to medical school. Most of the biological science type majors will cover the majority, if not all, of the medical school requirements. There is no one major that looks “best”, not even BME. Keep in mind that BME is an engineering program, not a glorified pre-med program and unless you really love math and engineering, there are far easier and better ways to get into medical school. As roberthhid put it,
In terms of picking an actual major, figure out what you’re interested in. If you really like math, then chemical and biomolecular engineering might be a good fit, as would computational neuroscience (a concentration in the neurosci program) or biophysics. Other less math-intense options include biology, public health, other tracks in neuroscience, behavioral biology, and the list goes on.

But at the same time, remember that if there’s something else you really want to study, go for it! Even if you major in English or Sociology, you can still use your distribution requirements to take the pre-medical requirements.
