Pre-Med requirements and AP credit

but once u get at least 30, it makes things a lot easier, compared to the situation u would've had? and GPA's like 3.5 at least right?

Generally, a balanced thirty is the cutoff at which you can be pretty confident of being able to get into some medical school, somewhere.

What about if there is a humanities requirement, and you took AP Human Geo in high school, and you dont want to take another class like that again in college, then is there a point in taking APHuman Geo in high school (other than to develop note taking skills) or can you actually recieve credit for a prerequisite in pre med?

If he wants to skip a course, then skip Bio II. That is rather worthless for a premed.

My son skipped both Bio I and Bio II and instead took higher level Bio classes with labs.

“do med schools care if u chose not to use AP credit and took an intro course? (like when u get a 5 on the AP)”

??

How would med schools know? They don’t get your AP scores.

THIS THREAD IS 6.5 YEARS OLD

lol…oh gag!

As to the later question…

I think there are some med schools (USC?) that have a lot of humanities req’ts and they won’t let you use AP credits if I remember correctly.
