Hey everyone, I'm currently a freshman at a CC majoring in Biochem and planning on going the pre-med route. After doing research, I've found out that many med schools do not accept AP credit. I know it isn't a problem that I used AP credit for non-science/math related courses (like history and English), but I'm worried because I used my credits from Chem, Calc AB, Calc BC, and Bio to allow me take Gen Chem II, Calc III, and Plant and Animal Bio my first semester. I'm in a precarious situation because most med schools require 2 semesters of general chem (though me doing well in Gen Chem II logically says that I understand Gen Chem I), 1 semester of intro-level calculus (not sure if Calc III counts as introductory), and 2 semesters of general, intro-level bio (Molecular Bio, which I will be taking, and Plant and Animal Bio are "intro-level" but not general). While I would normally take these lower-level courses "just in case," my major requires many high-level science courses (much higher than med school reqs), so doing so is a major inconvenience and will result in me having to stay another year at my CC. Any thoughts on what I should do?

According to post #1 of http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/pre-med-topics/214382-coursework.html , higher level courses in the same subject are accepted. Meaning that for any course skipped with AP credit, add another higher level course in the same subject in addition to the remaining pre-med required courses.
