<p>is st.johns university a good pre-med school? what about brooklyn college (CUNY)? i am worried that going to a CUNY will hurt my chances of getting into med school later. can someone help me out here?</p>

<p>i had the same question. Regarding st. john's, the head of the bio department told me that a lot of people from st.john's get into suny downstate and the avg mcat score is a little less than 27.</p>
