<p>UCLA or Berkeley? Disregard the atmosphere, i like the charm of both areas, but what about the competition? I've been hearing different things about both schools regarding pre-med.</p>

<p>These schools have thousands of kids, there is no difference on any level than matters. Pick the one where you think YOU will have a better experience and succeed best</p>

<p>ucla is better. way more opportunities. so easy to get research. med school on campus = connections if you look hard enough. also science classes are easier.</p>

<p>bro goes to berkeley. i know his material is harder…he is slaving to find research (hes a junior im a freshman) while i already have found some, plus the connections thing is obvious…lotta doctors at ucla hospital/cedars sinai teach at ucla med.</p>
<p>teacher at my school went to berkeley as pre-med 6 years ago, said only 8 were in the program, obviously the program has grown but ucla has already worked through the kinks of building up a program</p>
