I heard they are very good. There is a kid I know who is doing the premedical track, but with that he has a backup plan of biomechanical engineering. After he has completed the required courses for that plan, he will apply for med school. I also heard that you can research at the med school, which is pretty promising because you get to meet the medical staff and get familar with how the med school works.

I'm premed at A&M, too. I will definitely look into that medical school research thing. I'm not really planning on going to A&M's medical school; can I still do the research? :)

That's cool
Do you like the program at A&M penguin?

The listserv is really good for finding out the opportunities available to premeds. You can sign up at http://honors.tamu.edu/opsa/default.aspx. Good luck!

I'll be at A&M next fall, sorry for the confusion. But I'll try to keep y'all posted anyway! :)

A&M has a really good Biomedical Engineering/Pre-Med program. I'm looking forward to it! Also, many graduates from A&M have gained admission into prestigious medical schools like Baylor and UT Southwestern. And in case you are a biomedical science (BIMS) major, I've heard that their preperation for medical school is excellent.
