Hello everyone! This is my first post on the site, although I have been lurking these forums for a couple of years in high school. I am currently a first year student at a CCC and am planning to transfer to a 4-year (hopefully a UC). However, I’ve been on the rocks about my major. I’m planning on going for physical therapy as it is something I’m very interested in and can see myself doing. I know most pre-pt’s take on science majors and I’ve been thinking about majoring in Chemistry. I am also prepared for the worst, and if I don’t get into a DPT program, I would need a backup plan and I don’t see myself teaching Chemistry or being a lab assistant, etc. I was just wondering if a CompSci major would be okay for a pre-pt student. CompSci is something I definitely enjoy and I know I would be guaranteed a job if all comes to worse. Opinions?Would CompSci classes and pre-req’s be too much?
