Hi. I’m a sophomore journalism major at Ithaca College. I’ve decided to transfer to another school (applying to multiple) and major in business (probably finance). The one problem is as a journalism major, I don’t have some of the pre-req’s (most notably, two accounting courses). Now I’m taking an accounting course this semester. Also some schools require a stats course. I can’t get into one this semester as the one I need is full. So basically for some schools, I’m going to be 1-2 classes short for their business programs and for some of them I’m postive that I can transfer to the school and then to the business schools. I’m calling admissions offices as they re-open this week, but doesn’t any one know how strict they are about this (I’m willing to take classes in the summer so that I have them all for the fall and plan on telling admissions offices this)?
