Pre-Vet Undergrad at Stony Brook University or University of Delaware

Hello everyone,
I'm a high school senior who would like to pursue Veterinary Medicine. I have been accepted to Stony Brook University and the University of Delaware. I'm finding it difficult to choose which would best prepare me for my application to Vet school. UD has a specific pre-vet degree which would give me hands on experience with animals in the school of agriculture but Stony Brook has stronger sciences because of their medical school and the number of pre-med students.

Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated,
Thank you.

Go with Delaware, which offers both an undergraduate major in animal science and the opportunity to gain hands on work/research experience with a variety of animals – both will give you a leg up in the vet school admissions process, which is more competitive than admission for medical school.
