precollege/summer program for medical experience?

<p>I have been searching for things to do in this summer.</p>

<p>I really want to find out if a doctor is really my future career, and it would be nice to know that through summer programs.</p>

<p>Brown had the program that I had been looking for: it was titled something like ''so you think you want to be a doctor?'</p>

<p>But what i heard was that it was a waste of money if I want a summer program that would make my resume look better. </p>

<p>And I am burdened by the amount of money i would have to pay for Brown program.</p>

<p>Are there any other programs that would look good on the resume and or cheaper than Brown program?</p>

<p>I’ll be taking So you Think You Want to be a doctor at Brown this summer! Everyone told me it was well worth the money.</p>

<p>But if you want something else try Johns Hopkins’ or Cornell’s programs. They also rock.</p>
