Thanks for chancing me!! You have a really strong application overall. Your SAT score (a 2190 I believe converts roughly to a 33 ACT) is solid and you have a great list of ECs. I noticed a lot of consistency in your activities, which shows commitment; something colleges like to see. It is also great that you hold leadership positions in many of these clubs/sports.

Cornell- Defer or accept (I almost applied to the CALS school too, and from my research I have gathered that their supplement is highly valued. If yours is strong I think it will definitely work in your favor)
UM- Accept, possibly defer
Binghamton- Accept
NE- Accept
Emory- I don’t know anything about this school so it’s hard to say!
NYU- accept
BC- accept
UNC- hard to say because they accept mostly in-state applicants and most out of state acceptances are for athletes. Your credentials are there though.
USC- waitlist

Cornell (ED CALS) waitlisted --> accepted
UM, Ann Arbor (EA LSA) accepted
SUNY Binghamton (EA) accepted
Northeastern (EA) accepted
Emory (RD) waitlisted
NYU (RD) accepted
Boston College (RD) waitlisted
UNC-CH (RD) accepted
University of Southern California (RD) waitlisted

I think your stats are great for most of these schools but Cornell, Emory, BC, and USC are all very highly ranked and prestigious in their own ways. I think you could possibly get into one of these schools and you have a great shot at the other schools. Good luck!

Cornell-waitlisted----rejected
Umich-accepted
SUNY Binghamton- accepted
Northeastern–accepted
Emory—accepted
Nyu–accepted
BC-accepted
UNC-CH–rejected
USC–waitlisted

Awesome stats, not very original EC’s. IMO, your decision will lie in your essays, interviews, and your first gen hook! Best of luck!

I think you have great stats especially your grades.
This is what i think:

Northeastern–accepted
Emory—not sure
Nyu–accepted
BC-accepted
UNC-CH–rejected
USC–waitlisted
Cornell–waitlisted

I’d guess you’d get in pretty much everywhere, since you have good scores and are first generation

I think you’ll be accepted pretty much everywhere, although the top colleges can be unpredictable (such as USC)

Chance me too? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1940762-chance-me-please.html#latest

You’re pretty strong all around! You probably will get in to most of your schools :~)

Cornell- Deferred–>Accept
UM- Reject
SUNY Binghamton- Accept
Northeastern - Deferred–> reject
Emory - I know nothing about this school, so I really can’t say
NYU - accept
Boston College - accept
UNC-CH - accept
University of Southern California - reject

Chance me?

If essays are well written you are in everywhere you applied.

@rebecca12345 @pizzapastapotato @joeyl11 Why do you guys think she would be waitlisted at Emory? Just curious planning to apply to Emory as well.

@pakse9898 Emory is a very difficult school to get into as it’s also ranked very high. Yes, her ACT scores are the 75th percentile but we’re talking about Emory and this is a school that is not a guarantee for anyone.

@joeyl11 Do you think she would have gotten into oxford? I’m asking because I have similar stats as well. Is emory’s admissions office unpredicatble?

GUYS GOT ACCEPTED INTO CORNELL CLASS OF 2021!! (GO BIG RED) SO IM NOT APPLYING TO ANY RD SCHOOLS

@CORNyshELL - Congratulations

Congrats!!
