PREDICT ME!! (A Game -- Will CHANCE BACK)

I saw someone doing this before, so I thought we could play a game. I’m going to post my stats and the schools I’ve applied to, and you post what you think the decisions will be (attend, accept, waitlist, deny). When I hear back, I will post in the thread. It will be interesting to see how accurate predictions are.

SAT Superscore: 2290 (two sittings, both mid 2200s), 750 Math, 740 Verbal, 800 Writing (80 MC + 11 Essay)
SAT IIs: 800 Math II, 720 US History
APs: 5s on US History and AP Lang, 4 on Physics B, 3 on Art History (Self study that I didn’t really “study” for)
Weighted GPA: 4.23/4.8 (Honors/AP 100 = 5.0, 99 = 4.9, for regular, 100 = 4.0, 99 = 3.9)
Unweighted: Around 3.98-- My school doesn’t calculate UW
Hardest curriculum available - Senior year course load: 6 APs, 2 Advanced Honors Elective (not offered as APs, special math and science class), Honors Orchestra (no off period)
National Merit Semi-Finalist

IMPORTANT: I attended Montessori schools from kindergarten through 9th grade. I started 10th grade at a top 30 public school. The Montessori schools were not academically preparatory for my current school. I made a lot of low As my sophomore year, for that reason (I think my guidance counselor addressed this). I also could only participate in school activities for three years.

Also for this reason, I switched to French in 10th grade after several years of Spanish, because I was more interested in French. I tested out of French 1 over the summer, and am now taking AP French (I had no prior experience in the language).

Activities:
Cross Country: CAPTAIN, multiple time league champion (team and individual), school record
Track: Same as above
I am being recruited to D3 schools
Orchestra:
12 years of double bass (bass is an uncommon/rare instrument)
Mostly outside of school until three years ago (was in the top group of several of city’s youth orchestra programs)
Currently section leader in top group of my school orchestra
All-Region for the past several years, section leader last year
Sent in a music supplement
Also teach private lessons for underprivileged middle schoolers
NHS - Lots of volunteering
Multiple clubs
I volunteer outside of school at our local botanical gardens, growing native plants in the nursery
WORK: I work part-time shelving books at a research library

Summers:
11: Learned French
12: Six week summer music program away from home (very highly regarded program in the music world)
13: Six week summer laboratory biochemistry internship away from home (very competitive admissions program, tier below RSI, but similar program)

Essay and Recommendations:
Essays were good for the most part (I hope). I wrote at least five drafts of each supplement and family members/friends looked over them. Common app essay was about rediscovering my love for music.
Two recommendations for most schools, three for those that allow it (also a rec from my private teacher and coach)
All three teachers really like me, and I have had them for multiple years (my brother also had two of them before me) - History, French, and English

Major: History, French, English and Biology -- Usually put History as my first choice

Schools:
Emory (Scholars)
Davidson (Belk)
Claremont McKenna (Have very high profile alumnus relative)
Pomona
Williams
Amherst
Haverford
Bowdoin
Washington University in St. Louis (Arts and Sciences)
Cornell (CAS or Plant Bio in ALS)
Penn (CAS)
Columbia (College)
Dartmouth
Yale
Stanford (LEGACY)

So let me know where you think I’ll be accepted and where you think I’ll go! Thanks, and I’ll post results when I find out.

Also, if I don’t chance you back ASAP, please PM me!

I am unfamiliar with a lot of these schools:

Stanford: Reach
Yale: Reach
Columbia: Reach
Dartmouth: Reach
Penn: low/mid Reach
Cornell CAS: High match
Emory: High match

I agree with Posterguy, and say that you’d be a match for Wash St Louis. Be aware this whole country is becoming more selective though! And Amherst I hear is a really weird one, that anyone can get in I guess…? It’s very erratic is what I hear

You could get into most or all of these schools except for Stanford which is a long shot for anyone. Good job for doing so well in school.

Chance me?
