Predict the results for me for top schools, and I'll post the decisions when I get them!

@burak96‌ Awesome, I’ll post the results in March!

Anyone else want to do what burak did?

Accept: NYU, Upenn, Cornell
Deferred: Yale, Harvard, Columbia

@ndemazita‌ Do you mean denied? Seems like this is the sort of results people have been predicting

@wilguen‌ oh yea, sorry, forgot this was regular decision and not early decision. Yes, I mean denied.

@ndemazita‌ No worries!

Bump

Anyone else?

Last bump-- would like to get some more predictions!

I think that your stats are great!
Columbia (Deferred ED): high match/low reach
Cornell: high match
Harvard: reach
NYU: low match
Penn: high match/low reach
Yale: reach
Good luck!

@12345n thank you!

The focus on Academic Decathlon is really good.

Columbia (Deferred ED) reject because deferred
Cornell accept
Harvard waitlist
NYU accept
Penn accept unless wharton then waitlist
Yale reject

You’ll get a good pick of schools.

@gpqpqp Thanks! And yeah I’m not applying to Wharton

Anyone else?

I suppose I can add some information. I had a Penn interview that went well. We talked for about 45 minutes (it seemed as if he were in a hurry) and I displayed genuine interest about their CAS programs. He seemed to like my backstory and thought it pretty interesting. I also had a Harvard interview which went even better. I was a bit more nervous but overall it went very well. I felt like genuine friends with my interviewer, and she told me my backstory and interests were very very interesting as well. Hope this adds a bit

You have amazing stats but without beating around the bush I’m going to say- most of the colleges you have listed are a crapshoot. I could say you have a 30% or 10% or a 70% chance of getting in but none of that matters with these schools. Your application is swimming in a sea of perfect applicants. All you can hope is that something in yours catches the readers eye.
Given that here are my thoughts

Harvard/Yale/Columbia: reach
Penn/cornell: high match
NYU: really low match

When all is said and done I think you’ll get into three.

Chance back anyone?

Bit of an update:

Had a Cornell phone interview that I thought went extremely well. The guy really liked me and seems like he wrote me a great report.

I also scored first place in AD Regionals 2015, and with this score I’m also the top in the state, the highest scorer in the history of my region, and 28th in the nation (first in the nation excluding CA and TX). I won 11 medals, 8 golds, 2 silvers, and 1 bronze.

I was, however, only able to send this to Columbia and Harvard. Not sure where/to whom to send this update to for the other schools (if someone could let me know it would be great and might help a lot!)

Just got into Penn via likely letter!
