Since all are complaining the weird second and third frq on physic C mech, let's talk about the curve. The 2009 curve for mechanics is 50/90 for a 5 and 39-49/90 for a 4.

But keep in mind that 1/4 deduction for wrong MC question was on 2009 test. So the curve may not be "significantly" lower. What do you think will be the curve for this year? Is 45/90 reasonable?

I think 45 is kinda low. Maybe 49 to 52

I’d say 50-53. The MC was very easy and straightforward. The second FRQ wasn’t all that hard.

semaphore12, how did you do the second frq?

Easy, you drop the objects from a height and find the potential and kinetic energy. Or you can place the track on the table with the cart and do the same calculations.
