<p>Im looking to apply to U Michigan as a Computer Engineering major but i was just wondering what these preferred admit programs are. The school of information specifically is what im looking at but i dont really know what applying to this program does. is it some kind of double major thing where i can do information and computer engineering? or is this school only for masters and not undergrad? any information would be appreciated thanks.</p>
<p>anybody have any opinions or information on this? i also saw that the school of information offers phD and masters programs so i guess that means its only for grad school? but why would they have this preferred admit program for freshmen?</p>

<p>yea i took a look at that but i still didnt understand why they were asking if freshman applicants wanted to apply preferred admission to these programs.</p>
