Cornell costs roughly 10k more than UGA (I got full ride there), which one is worth it more than the other? I heard Cornell premed is really tough, how tough is it?

Compared to med school, it’s nothing. Now that I’m about to be a fourth year med student, I kinda wished Cornell was a bit tougher in preparing me. I’ve found my competition at a top med school to be pretty stiff. I just wasn’t pushed very much at Cornell unfortunately.

Personally, I’d save 40k of money and go to UGA, especially since you’re aiming for med school, unless you’re not sure about medicine and you want to explore your interests. Cornell’s a lot more flexible with course selection.

norcalguy, where ru now in med school?

I really don’t want to reveal that information.

My point is that Cornell (and most other colleges) should really up its intensity if it wants to realistically prepare its students for medical school.
