I'm doing premed and I wanna see what courses do premed students usually take in their freshman and sophmore year?

You take Bio, Chem you fresh year, and Orgo and Physics your Soph year. That really it for pre-med. And you make sure to volunteer and do medical related things.

wat about biochem? is math on the MCAt? Plus rn't there 5 quarters of bio? wat about the 2 left? wen should u take it

No there is only a one year bio requirement. There is no math on the MCAT nor BioChem per sey, unless its included in a biology section maybe. Also you arent allowed to use a calculator on the MCAT you have to do everything out. And you have to know all constants and such.

Freshman year I took: 2 sem intro bio w/lab, 2 sem gen chem w/ lab, 1 semester multivariable calculus, 1 sem linear alegebra, 1 sem writing (I left out non science/premed courses)

Sophomore year I took/am taking: 2 sem organic chem, 1 sem organic chem lab, 2 sem gen physics, 1 sem biochemistry, 1 sem evolutionary biology

Next semester I'm taking: my last sem of biochemistry, genetics w/lab, statistics

wow norcal, how is that sophomore year class load treating you?
