Schedule for freshman and sophmore year?

For premed, what's the schedule for your freshman and sophmore year?
I just wanna see what courses do people usually take.

BTW, if you're majoring in bio, do you have to take english and/or social science?

Well most medical schools require a year of English.

Freshmen year, I think pre-meds typically--assuming no AP Credit--take General Biology and General Chemistry. Some also knock out the medical school requirement for Calculus during the first year.

Sophmore year, I'm not too familiar with. I am pretty sure students take Organic Chemistry and start taking advanced bio classes.

I took Calc III (multivariable calculus), linear algebra & diff equations, gen chem, intro bio, and my writing classes my freshman year.

I took physics, organic chem, organic chem lab, and biochem (required at some med schools) my sophomore year.

Of course I took lots of other classes but that's how I spread out my med school requirements over my first two years. It's definitely not a bad idea to mix in some humanities classes to raise your GPA. I have yet to receive a grade lower than an A in a non bio/chem class.

how many classes/credits do first-year premed students usually take?
