Did you even self-study the course? If so, how many hours of preparation did you think you did?

Bump.

tanchar.

princeton review should be your starting point. i used kaplan afterwards and i got a five on both. be sure to do the posted frqās on the college board site, because the ones in the books arenāt too similar to the real ones, which are pretty predictable once you do a couple.

That you for the response, but can you (or anybody else) tell me the net hours that you spent self-studying this and the score you got? I understand that some people say that it took 5 days or whatever, but I have no details on what exactly went on during those days (practice tests, flash cards, preparation books, textbooks, etc). Could someone please comment on this as well?

^I would like to know as well, so a bump for you, LoseYourself!
=)
From my research, Iāve been taking notes on 5 steps to a 5

I wanna know too!

Bump for you!

and does anyone know how much overlap there is between the two tests?

Bump again.

Bump again!

@isaiahstock the only overlap is the basic concepts section, which includes things like supply and demand, comparative/absolute advantage, scarcity, etc.

You know anything about the hours recommend about self-studying and/or the original question posed in the original post?

thank you, the situation! although I donāt really approve of the nameā¦

How good would Kaplan be as the only book to use?
I am not sure if I will be able to take the class so if I am planning in case I have to self study and this is the only book I have.

I would like to know that as well.

Come on people!

Seriously people?

I recommend 5 step to a 5 donāt use barrons I wasted a lot of time trying to decipher barrons and eventually gave up and switched to 5 step to a 5 and Princeton their both great books concepts sometimes take time to understand thankfully for Econ there are several YouTube vids that I repetitively watched that really helped. Micro Econ I spent the most time on just reading the book watching vids. Donāt try to rush read the book rather just try to understand the concepts solidly that was the mistake I made I read through the book fast and didnāt understand a lot of it.

I did not study macro Econ at all due to busy schedule and other ap I was taking til the day before. Day before I stay home and read both Princeton and 5 step to a 5 several times took all practice test and probs on both books slept at 3am woke up next day took a 5 hour energy. And scored 4s on both I highly recommend really taking ur time comprehending everything and not cram if u want 5s

ā¦? Thank you for the advice, but can somebody please give me the total hours spent on this and perhaps answer some of my original questions?

Where are you guys?

Nobody on the hours?
