So today my parents got an email from a prep school which i have never heard of before and they said they found out through my ssat i don't know what the score of it is yet that being said are they interested in me and was my ssat score good

It happens less with prep schools than it does with colleges, but - unless you asked them not to - the SSAT will provide some very basic information to schools (ie. contact information for students who, by having taken the test, have shown an interest in prep schools). This gives lesser-known schools a chance to introduce themselves to potential applicants.

ive heard of that happening before, but I wouldn’t take it too seriously or as an acceptance or anything. I have a friend who got one and was rejected from that same school.
but good luck!
out of curiosity, what school was it?

My son got the email from a a very good school (often discussed here) although the deadline for application already passed.

loomis chaffee

Well,Loomis Chaffee is a very good school (top ten schools) and if they said that your score was good, you are so LUCKY !

thanks i just wish i new what it is hopefully tomorrow after school

I think although it’s late now for the deadline, but I think you should apply. They email you to said that your score was very good, that means they want you to be one of the Loomis Chaffee community !
P/s:They said “Late applicants will be considered on a rolling basis.” so why not ? Just apply.GOOD LUCK :)

out of curiosity did you look into that school if so did u like it

Well,I like LC so much. It’s an excellent school, with beautiful campus (although I haven’t visited it yet).I know some of alumni who studied in LC before and they said they had had such a happy time in LC.I wish I could go to there, but with my SSAT score,it’s so impossile
P/s:Why dont you inquire ? They’ll send you more information (brochure,courses,…etc) :)

They must have sent a lot of invitations. People in other forums (even Chinese forums) got the invitation.
