Preparing teacher recs...what to include?

<p>I'm giving out my teacher recs tomorrow and tuesday. I have a big folder that snaps close for each teacher with the following in it:</p>

<p>-- for each school: an addressed and stamped envelope, the actual teacher evalutation form from the school, and a "special instructions" note if there are any special instructions for each one all paper clipped together</p>

<p>-- a copy of my resume</p>

<p>do I include a general letter on the front thanking them for writing me a letter and suggestions of what to write or what? </p>

<p>It sounds like what my D did for her recs-btw-she also included a copy of her transcript-we do not know if that helps-but just in case.
Also, everyone wants to feel like they are appreciated, so show good manners, and send a thank you note after they agree to write you a recommendation.</p>
